Nachdem wir heute Morgen die Rettungsinsel abgeholt und aufs Schiff gehievt haben - das Ding ist schwer und unhandlich - haben wir uns auf den Weg Richtung Süden gemacht. Diesmal nehmen wir wieder den Weg durch den Kanal von Lefkas und erleben, wie voll es im Hochsommer ist. Dicht an dicht fahren die Boote durch den Kanal und auch danach wird es nicht besser. Daher wollen wir den Rest des Sommers in der Ägäis verbringen. Heute wollen wir erstmal bis Frikes segeln und dort die nächsten zwei Tage bleiben. Dann müssen wir weiter.
Mitte August erwarten wir Freunde, die in Zakynthos zusteigen und uns bis Athen begleiten werden.
After picking up the life raft this morning and hoisting it onto the boat - the thing is heavy and unwieldy - we set off south. This time we take the route through the Lefkas Channel again and experience how crowded it is in the height of summer. The boats pass through the canal close together and it doesn't get any better afterwards. That's why we want to spend the rest of the summer in the Aegean. Today we want to sail as far as Frikes and stay there for the next two days. Then we have to move on.
In mid-August we are expecting friends who will join us in Zakynthos and accompany us to Athens.
