Hier in Vonitsa gibt es auch eine Burganlage. Da es sehr heiß ist, haben wir beschlossen morgens zur Burg zu laufen. Es sind ca. 30 Minuten Fussmarsch auf die Anhöhe. Ein gut ausgeschilderter Weg mit vielen Stufen und einer ordentlichen Steigung zum Ende führt zum Eingang der Burganlage. Der Eintritt kostet 3 €, da kann man nicht meckern. Eine ausgedehnte Anlage mit weitem Rundumblick und einigen gut erhaltenen Gebäuden belohnt die Mühen. Leider gibt es hier keine Restauration, daher sind wir wieder ins Dorf runter gelaufen und haben uns dort ein spätes Frühstück gegönnt - mit Blick auf die Bucht und unsere FRIENDSHIP.
Nachmittags sind wir wieder an Bord und gehen schwimmen, dabei sehen wir den "Bartbewuchs" am Rumpf und schon wissen wir, wie wir die nächsten Tage verbringen werden...
There is also a castle complex here in Vonitsa. As it is very hot, we decided to walk to the castle in the morning. It's about a 30-minute walk up the hill. A well-signposted path with lots of steps and a decent incline at the end leads to the entrance of the castle complex. The entrance fee is €3, so you can't complain. The extensive grounds with a wide panoramic view and some well-preserved buildings are worth the effort. Unfortunately, there are no restaurants here, so we walked back down to the village and treated ourselves to a late breakfast - with a view of the bay and our FRIENDSHIP.
In the afternoon we are back on board and go for a swim, where we see the "beard growth" on the hull and we already know how we will spend the next few days...
