Position: 35°34,6´N 041°00,1´W CoG 081° SoG 5kn
Kalt geworden ist es mittlerweile hier auf dem Atlantik. Aus Barfuß, kurzen Hosen und T-Shirt wurde in den
vergangenen Tagen Seestiefel, lange Hose und dicker Pulli. Nachts schließen wir die Cockpit-Tür, damit es während der Wachen im Salon nicht zu kalt wird. Tagsüber lässt es sich dank des
Sonnenscheins gut aushalten.
Wir hoffen dennoch auf wärmeres Wetter auf den Azoren. Bis dahin sind es für uns noch gut 620 Seemeilen. Mit Wind aus Nordwest und Welle von 3 bis 4 Metern, die uns manchmal arg durchschaukelt,
kommen wir gut voran.
Laut aktueller Wettervorhersagen soll das auch so bleiben. Stand jetzt kommen wir am 21. April in Horta an.
Von dort geht es dann Anfang Mai weiter Richtung Europa.

Ab Horta haben wir noch zwei Trainee-Plätze frei. Los geht es am 30. April. Geplante Ankunft in Gibraltar ist der 18. Mai.

It got cold, here on the atlantic ocean. From barefoot, shorts and t-shirt it has changed to boots, long trousers
and warm pullovers. At night we close the cockpit-door to keep it warm and cosy in the salon. Thanks to the sunshine (luckily most of times) it is still comfortable during daytime. But we hope
for warmer weather at the azores. To get there we have 620 nm to go. With wind from north-west and waves of 3-4m - which really shake us from time to time - we are advancing very well.
According to the latest weather forecasts it should stay like this and we should arrive at Horta on the 21st of April. From there we start the next leg to Europe. If you´re reading here and
interested to get some ocean-experience: There are 2 trainee-spots available from Horta to Gibraltar. 30th April Horta to 18th May Gibraltar.
