Cruising-categories

The characteristics of our sailing trips are very different. To give you a better orientation, we have divided the trips into different categories.

„Easy Cruising“: Cabin charters, holiday cruises with a focus on calling at different ports and bays, with plenty of time for swimming, snorkelling and shore excursions.                                                                                                                          Within the planned route, we sail corresponding legs and stay overnight in anchorages, harbours or marinas. If it is particularly beautiful somewhere, we may even stay a day longer.                                                         

Full service on board: Skipper and crew take care of the provisions before the start of the trip, prepare the meals on board and take care of everything that has to do with the yacht.

Freely according to the motto: "everything can - nothing has to", you decide whether you want to be involved in the ship's management and manoeuvres or whether you prefer to completely relax and simply let yourself be pampered.

Participation requirements: No specifics, suitable for newcomers and non-sailors.

„Trans-Med“: Cabin charter, voyage from port of departure to port of destination, stops at interesting places are likely, but cannot be guaranteed or planned due to the characteristics of the cruise. After instruction, you will actively take on tasks of the on-board routine, such as going on watch, manoeuvre positions, provisioning, helming, etc.

Participation requirements: Also suitable for newcomers. Participation in the (virtual) "Crew Meeting"    

„Trans-Ocean“: Cabin charter, voyage from port of departure to port of destination, no stopovers are planned. After briefing, you actively take over tasks of the on-board routine, such as going on watch, manoeuvre positions, provisioning, helming, etc.

Participation requirements: at least 1 week on board a MARA1ONE cruise or 300 nm experience. Participation in the (virtual) "crew meeting" (getting to know each other) and "preparation seminar" (virtual / questionnaire), extended disclaimer.

„Private Charter“: The complete yacht and crew at your own disposal. The most individual and exclusive type of a sailing cruise. Whether it's a holiday, motto or business event: the charterer decides who goes on board and where the trip goes.

In consultation with the skipper, a tailor-made cruise plan is created and we can respond exactly to your wishes.

Participation requirements: No special requirements, suitable for newcomers and non-sailors.

New: „MARA1ONE^®Trainee“: Training to become a yacht professional - Ideal for prospective crews, deckhands, future skippers and as preparation for sailing licence exams. Depending on your previous knowledge and desired trainee level, you will be deployed in all areas on board: care - maintenance - navigation - manoeuvres - service - planning - management. The periods are variable and can last from 1 week to 3 months.
