Der Sonntag macht seinem Namen alle Ehre - zwar sind rundum auch Wolken am Himmel, aber seit Sonnenaufgang strahlt sie auf uns. Obwohl recht kühl draußen, besonders im Wind, habe ich wieder die
Shorts ausgepackt und bekomme langsam das Gefühl, dass der Sommer bald beginnt.
Mittlerweile haben wir auch unsere Bordzeit umgestellt und haben jetzt hier die gleiche Zeit wie in Portugal und nur noch ein Stunde Zeitunterschied zu Deutschland.
Es ist ein gutes Gefühl, sich nicht nur räumlich sondern auch zeitzonenmäßig immer mehr unserem Ziel zu nähern.
Nach fast einem Monat Trans-Atlantik - im “Ozeanmodus” - wächst täglich die Vor-Freude, auch ganz bald wieder entspannte Törns im “Easy-Cruising”- Modus mit unseren Freunden und Gästen zu
fahren.
Eben sind es noch 300 sm bis zum Cabo Sao Vicente - von da noch 15 sm bis Lagos.
Glaubt man dem Wetterbericht (der bisher immer ziemlich genau getroffen hat) werden wir am 2. Mai ankommen - wobei wir bis dahin wohl durchgängig motoren müssen, da sich ein breites Flautenband
zwischen uns und dem Kontinent breit macht.
Drückt uns die Daumen, dass wir vielleicht doch noch ein bisschen Segelwind bekommen und schaut mal in eure Kalender, wann ihr Zeit habt, die griechische Inselwelt mit uns zu
erkunden.

Sunday lives up to its name - although there are clouds in the sky all around, she has been shining on us since sunrise. Although it's quite chilly outside, especially with the wind, I've unpacked my shorts again and I'm starting to get the feeling that summer is about to begin.
In the meantime we have also changed our board time and now have the same time here as in Portugal and only one hour time difference to Germany.
It's a good feeling to be getting closer and closer to our goal, not only spatially but also in terms of time zones.
After almost a month of trans-Atlantic - in "ocean mode" - the anticipation grows every day that very soon we will again be able to take relaxed trips in "easy cruising" mode with our friends and guests.
It's just 300 nm to Cabo Sao Vicente - from there it's 15 nm to Lagos.
If you believe the weather report (which has always been pretty accurate so far), we will arrive on May 2nd - although we will probably have to keep the engine running until then, as a wide band of calm is spreading between us and the continent.
Keep your fingers crossed that we might still get a bit of sailing wind and take a look at your calendar when you have time to explore the Greek island world with us.
