Der gestrige Tag war DER PERFEKTE Segeltag, 3-4 Bft, 1 m Welle und Rauschefahrt.
Highlight war dann ein Thunfisch an der Angel, der uns ein leckeres Abendessen bescherte.
Mit Bordmitteln haben wir dazu so eine Art Kartoffeln mit Mojo Soße gebastelt (so ähnlich, wie die das auf den Kanaren machen).
In der Nacht mussten wir zum ersten Mal seit unserer Abfahrt in der Karibik den Motor anwerfen, weil der Wind fast einschlief.
Nach gut zwei Stunden, frischte es wieder auf und mittlerweile pflügen wir wieder mit angenehmen 7-8 kn durchs Wasser. Groß im 2ten Reff, Genua 50%.
Alle an Bord sind wohlauf und wir freuen uns langsam darauf, bald wieder unsere Lieben zu sehen und von unserem Trip zu berichten. Aktuell noch 1359 sm bis Horta. Wenn das Wetter weiter so
mitspielt, könnten wir in etwa 8-9 Tagen dort ankommen. “Schau ma mal”

Yesterday was THE PERFECT SAILING DAY, 3-4 Bft, 1m wave and a steady speed around 7kn.
Icing on the cake: we caught a nice Thuna that made for a great dinner.
We prepared some kind of MOJO Sauce and potatoes (like they do on the canary islands) with what we had on board.
Last night we had to start the engine the first time since we left the caribbean, as the wind nearly died down completely.
After a bit more then two hours the breeze came back and now we are again smoothly sailing with 7-8kn. Main sail in 2nd reef, Gib 50%.
Everyone aboard is well and we all start looking forward to see our loved ones and tell our stories from that trip. Right now still 1359 nautical miles to go to Horta. If the weather stays kind
with us, we could be there in another 8-9 days.
We’ll see.
