Wenn man lange genug in der Karibik an einem Ort bleibt - wie wir jetzt in der Rodney Bay - dann trifft man häufig auf die "Royal Clipper". Die "Royal Clipper" ist ein fünfmastiges vier-Sterne Luxus-Kreuzfahrtschiff gebaut nach dem Vorbild der "Preußen". Sie ist zur Zeit das drittlängste Segelschiff der Welt und bietet Platz für 227 Passagiere. Die Besatzung besteht aus 106 Personen. Sie gehört zu Reederei Star Clippers und diente auch als Drehort für die Serie "Unter weißen Segeln".
Wir genießen einfach den Anblick und lassen die Seele baumeln....
If you stay in one place in the Caribbean long enough - like we are now in Rodney Bay - you will often come across the "Royal Clipper". The "Royal Clipper" is a five-masted, four-star luxury cruise ship built on the model of the "Prussian". It is currently the third longest sailing ship in the world and can accommodate 227 passengers. The crew consists of 106 people. It belongs to the Star Clippers shipping company and was also used as a filming location for the series "Under White Sails".
